If reports are anything to go by, Apple Watch 2 release may get delayed.
The Apple Watch 2 may come out in March this year during Apple's event, Christian Post reported. The smartwatch may come out together with other Apple devices such as the iPad Air 3 and the iPhone 6c.

Also, it is expected that the Apple Watch 2 will come with improvements and enhancements. According to Vine Report, the smartwatch will have features such as more efficient trackers for activity and sleep, iPhone-free WiFi and a FaceTime video camera.
Rumors are doing the rounds that the software giant will add health sensors to the smartwatch straps. The Apple Watch 2 is also expected to have a better battery life. Also, fans wish that the new Apple Watch will have a built-in GPS for running and will be waterproof for swimming.
Reports also suggest that the Apple Watch 2 will be slimmer than the original Apple Watch. However, no official statement about the smartwatch has been released by the tech giant Apple.
It is not clear whether the new smartwatch will retain the rectangular-faced shape of the original or not. According to reports, the Apple Watch 2 will include some of the sensors, including blood pressure, blood oxygen level and skin conductivity.
It is likely that the Apple Watch 2 will be accompanied by the release of bands in new colors and designs as the tech company has set a precedent of changing the bands many times every year.
Meanwhile, according to recent reports, Valencell, a Biometrics company, has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against the tech company. This may delay the release of Apple Watch 2.
According to the company's complaint, employees of Apple downloaded whitepapers from their website that are available to the public.
Furthermore, Valencell said that they demonstrated a prototype PerformTek watch in front of Apple's employees in 2013.
The company said in the lawsuit that a few employees of Apple present in that demonstration have been involved in the development of the smartwatch.
