In today's technologically advanced society, cyber attack is more than just a pigment of imagination. A testament to the reality of cyber crimes was the ones perpetrated by hackers not only for financial gain but most especially to carve their names in history as one of the best hackers of all time.

Perhaps one of the most mysterious and awesome cyber attacks of all time would be the "Conficker." Such term refers to a tenacious work that has already infected millions of computers and other digital devices since 2008, according to Tested.

This type of worm has been considered as unique during its inception for it would continually update itself, while connecting to the growing system of websites. So far, the person or people behind the "Conficker" has remained anonymous. As of the current writing, such creation is yet to create an unimaginable havoc online, making it very dangerous.

In terms of military power, no other country is yet to go beyond the US Army. However, with regard to cyber dominance, it seems like China or better yet some of their citizens may be on par or even better than that of the United States' cyber system and security.

Considered by many as one of the boldest cyber attacks in history, Chinese hackers were able to compromise US Weapon Systems. Although no official blame was directed to China, both countries are in constant tech upgrade to avoid retaliation or another attack.

Attack of Kevin Mitnick is perhaps the best and widely known cyber attack of all time. He has been considered as the self-styled "hacker poster boy," according to Telegraph.

He was able to launch an attack on the world's top technology and telecommunications companies including Nokia, Fujitsu, and Motorola during his generation. He was feared by the law enforcement thinking that "start a nuclear war by whistling into a pay phone."
