News Pro is a news app and it does an amazing job of giving users stories that are related to their specific skill, job, or interests. Tech analysts praised the app's ease of use which makes reading news a lot easier.

Microsoft's News Pro app comes from Microsoft Garage, an experimental division of the company that focuses on making innovative apps and other projects. News Pro is powered by Bing, Microsoft's search engine.

A statement released on Microsoft's News Desk reads, "News Pro helps you search for news around your work every day. Fuel your unique interests with over a million topics to choose from. Get informed efficiently by locating the most important and relevant articles each day based off what interests you."

News Pro supports Facebook and LinkedIn profiles, and users can choose from either two to link their News Pro account with. By synchronizing News Pro with the user's Facebook or LinkedIn account, the app can take a peek on the user's interests and from that point it can give out relevant suggestions.

There are certain indications that the New Pro app will not find its way to the Android or even Windows platform. Several tech analysts claim that since this is an app created by Microsoft Garage there might some complications when it comes to support of other platforms.

According to The Verge, apps made by the team from Microsoft Garage rarely get to migrate from one platform to another. On the other hand, one big advantage of the News Pro app is that it works on any device. The app supports desktop systems, as well as tablets and smartphone devices.

With the latest release of News Pro, many tech analysts speculate that Microsoft is upgrading its effort in order to appeal into other platforms like iOS. The Redmond-based tech company had been busy incorporating some of its services on the iOS platform, the most prolific among these is the Cortana for iOS app.
