iPad Pro 2 | Everything We Know So Far (trustedreviews/YouTube Screenshot)
If the recently leaked iPad Pro 2 specifications are any indication that the Apple device is indeed coming, it's also possible that it will arrive this year. However, the recent arrival of the Apple iPad 2017 also downplays the possible coming of the former. Apparently, fans are waiting for the successor of the iPad Pro 2016.

According to the University Herald, the possibility of the iPad Pro 2 carrying the combined technology of the iPad Air and MacBook Air functionalities is within the concept. Meanwhile, the idea of iPads transitioning to laptop competitors is also on top of the project. A recent Apple ad according to the UH, featured the hybrids being compared to traditional laptops.
Interestingly, the NYMag reported the possibility of the iPad Pro 2 replacing the MacBook Air laptop. It's obvious; Apple is capitalizing on its brand with its overpriced devices including the refurbished (updated) MacBook Air laptop. Since its launching in 2011, the laptop hybrid has received just about enough update and not new versions.
But for the iPad Pro that was released in 2016, it seem like Apple made the call for its price. For the previous version, the price is very much similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro wherein, the iPad Pro has a base price of $600 and a total of $850 if you choose to also take the keyboard and the stylus (S Pen in the case of the Surface Pro).
If indeed Apple is planning on a transition by developing the iPad Pro 2 to a 2-in-1 hybrid, then it's likely that the Surface Pro is heading to a steep competition with the brand. Additionally, Apple will be opening doors to more consumers who wish to experience both worlds of laptops and tablets.
Apple has not confirmed any release date for the iPad Pro 2, hence the lack of announcement for the highly anticipated Apple hybrid.
