Final Fantasy XV is an action-RPG video game developed by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
The latest updates for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature details on a mobile version of the game and an episode for Ardyn Izunia in the works soon.
It seems that Square Enix will be venturing a new project for "Final Fantasy XV" as they will likely put the game for mobile devices soon. The Japanese video game publisher are pushing to make "Final Fantasy XV" mobile and it will be called "Final Fantasy XV: New Empire" and they are planning to incorporate a different kind of strategy, one that will put the title a notch higher from the competition, Android Community reported.

For now, the "Final Fantasy XV" mobile version is currently having its soft launch in New Zealand and it is uncertain if the game is really available on the said country. Perhaps, Square Enix has started bringing the title to another location as the game still boasts with the same characters namely from the console versions: Noctis, Cindy, Ignis, Gladiolus and Prompto.
As for the gameplay, it obviously differs in a lot of ways as "Final Fantasy XV" mobile version will not be a action-RPG. Instead, players will be asked to build structures and cities where they can conduct research on various upgrades or advancements for the heroes and troops alike. Players can even choose gears that are specifically themed for a character's skills, sets and gems.
It remains a mystery as to when the "Final Fantasy XV" mobile version will undergo a global launch, but Square Enix will give gaming fans some updates soon.
In other news, game director Hajime Tabata teased gaming fans that he and Square Enix will be working on new episodic DLC for "Final Fantasy XV" outside of episodes Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis.
Tabata stated in an interview that they have plans for the future development for "Final Fantasy XV" and many fans are questioning whether they will make a DLC story based around the sequel's main antagonist, Ardyn Izunia, Gamerant reported.
Ardyn in "Final Fantasy XV" was first introduced to Noctis and crew early on as a mysterious wanderer before eventually positioning himself as "Final Fantasy XV‘s" main antagonist.
Still, even by the time the game has ended, there is a lot about Ardyn that fans simply do not know about. Whereas iconic villains like Sephiroth and Kefka had their reasons for world domination intimately explored in their respective games, there has always been the sense that Ardyn’s story may have seen some major alterations alongside other elements within the game that may have been cut.
Given Ardyn's popularity among "Final Fantasy" fans, it will make sense for Tabata and the rest of the developers from Square Enix to make an episode about him to explore details of his past and what drove him to do what he does in the game's story.
"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
