Kingdom Hearts 3 is an action-RPG developed by Square Enix for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. It is considered the third title of the Kingdom Hearts game series.
New updates for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature a Nintendo Switch version tease and "Final Fantasy" characters coming to the sequel.
It seems that Square Enix will likely port "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the Nintendo Switch soon as the company's CEO Yosuke Matsuda told Nikkei (via My Nintendo News) that they are serious about putting their video game titles, both current and upcoming on the brand new console.

It is previously hinted that "Kingdom Hearts" game series is hinted to have the highest chance of being ported to the Nintendo Switch console as there have been titles that have been ported to Nintendo like "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days" and "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" could be added to the list.
Meanwhile, "Kingdom Hearts 3" might introduce several characters from "Final Fantasy" as a survey from Famitsu (via KH Insider) revealed that five names that fans want in the sequel.
The choices include Noctis from "Final Fantasy XV," Claire "Lightning" Farron from "Final Fantasy XIII," Bartz from "Final Fantasy V," Zidane from "Final Fantasy iX" and a Chocobo.
The poll accounted for more than 500 votes, and Noctis emerged victorious by a margin of 36. Could this mean that gaming fans might see Noctis alongside Sora in "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon?
The "Kingdom Hearts" game franchise has been known to have both Disney and "Final Fantasy" characters together and several famous names from the series already made their appearances such as Cloud Strife, Squall Leonhart, Aerith Gainsborough, Zack Fair, Tidus, Selphie, Wakka, Sephiroth, Auron and many more.
Previous report revealed that Square Enix will be in attendance in this year's D23 Expo event on July 14-16 in Anaheim, California.
A new exhibit curated by the Walt Disney Archives is expected to make a debut in the three-day event, and will have exciting features like the D23 Expo costume contest, the Disney Legends Ceremony and the D23 Expo Emporium.
However, gaming fans are more interested in next year's D23 Expo in Japan as Square Enix will likely showcase "Kingdom Hearts 3." The event will be on Feb. 10-12 at the Tokyo Disney Resort , as there is a huge possibility that a "Kingdom Hearts 3" reveal will happen during the event, whether it be a new gameplay video, story trailer, or possibly a release date announcement.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to be release on 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
