Toonami surprised its viewers upon its revelation that it will undergo a drastic change this week. Reports told that after spending a great number of years with one piece, the channel has decided to replace it with "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3. This is why, starting from March 25, the hit pirate anime would then be replaced with another popular anime series. And with that, Toonami released a teaser of what fans could expect from it.

According to Comic Book, the preview made showed a sneak peek of the "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 plot and storyline. It introduced to the fans the basic things they should know about the hit Tokyo Ghoul. The story showed a boy named Ken Kaneki who was tagged as unfortunate because of being half-Ghoul. Kaneki lives in a world where Ghouls are present and eat human to stay alive. With this, the character would then struggle as he finds himself craving for human flesh as well. Sources told that even the monsters in that place don't think that Ken would live long.
Meanwhile, in a report made, changes in the Toonami schedule would be evident in the next few weeks. Here is the schedule for April 15 and 22, as cited by the same publication.

It was remembered that the "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 series was first released in September 2011 gaining a great number of reviews and praises. It was first released as a manga before it became an anime series made by Pierrot. The story follows a boy who continuously hides his identity to keep himself alive.
