It's the same old brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as alleged refurbished devices emerged online. Even at the height of the unfortunate fate of the Note 7, Samsung openly suggested recycling the units in order to help the environment. Now, it looks like the moment has arrived with this little known and allegedly refurbished Galaxy Note 7.

It looks fairly the same as the original Galaxy Note 7, the difference is that it particularly carried a different model number as the original. According to the GSM Arena, the original Note 7's model number is N930 compared to the alleged refurbished, which is now N935. But the most significant change on the device is the new 3,200mAh battery.
While it's unlikely that these are newly manufactured Galaxy Note 7, it's fair to say; Samsung made a great job in addressing the issue of exploding devices, hence the update on the battery itself. In a report by the Phone Arena, the newly released devices are currently called the Samsung Galaxy Note 7R. Their initial review on the battery also points to a 300mAH lower than its original 3,500mAH.
According to analysts, the reduced battery capacity makes it even more compact and practical for the new Galaxy Note 7, reducing the risk of accidental bursting from overheating. Unfortunately, Samsung has not released the regions where the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be released, but the Phone Arena said, not to expect it any sooner in the United States. This is for the simple reason that most consumers in the US failed to surrender their units when Samsung made a recall.
Meanwhile, the said Samsung Galaxy Note 7R will be released in Asia as a limited edition stock as well as some parts of the UK region. Take note that the new device still carries the Android 6.0 OS for those who are curious on what system operates the device now.
