This year's new iteration of the popular Wrestling sim game, "WWE 2K18", will not likely release to old gen consoles, PS3 and Xbox 360 for the first time. The game's PC version will also reportedly demand for higher specs.

"As I'm not in a position to tell you what the changes are, we cannot really discuss that. However, they have taken a lot of suggestions via social media to improve certain aspects of the game," the source said.
On the other hand, the game will still launch on Microsoft Windows, PS4 and Xbox One but PC version will require an 8GB RAM for a smoother and seamless play. This piece of information remains unconfirmed, however but it won't take long to find out more about the game soon.
It's quite certain that the first official details will be announced by 2K Sports at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017. Just like last year, Wrestling aficionados can look forward to gameplay trailer and release date reveal at the prestigious annual event this June.
Talking of release date, the said source further said that "WWE 2K18" will be available on October 17 or October 24, if there won't be any special circumstance that will delay its release. Typically, there's a month lead before 2K Sports makes an announcement of the game's launch in the US and across other regions worldwide.
So far, the studio behind the development of the WWE 2K series has not yet confirmed any of the superstars who will be included and form part of the roster in "WWE 2K18". The "WWE 2K17" featured more than 150 playable characters and it is yet to be seen if the succeeding title will get to that number or even exceed it.
