Blizzard Entertainment announced that Overwatch will not have new events in year 2.
The latest details for "Overwatch" will feature the "Uprising" event available today and three legendary skins for Hanzo.
Blizzard Entertainment launched "Overwatch's" latest in-game event called "Overwatch Uprising" as it will introduce another story in the first-person hero game involving an attack on King's Row during peace time between humans and Omnics after the Omnic Crisis.

The "Overwatch Uprising" will feature a new game mode where in players will be working together to fight waves of Omnics in King's Row. Players will have a chance to control characters Tracer, Torbjorn, Mercy and Reinhardt, while other players can play any of 24 characters on the current "Overwatch" roster.
The new mode is a direct response to positive player feedback after Halloween’s cooperative mode, "Junkenstein’s Revenge." Aside from the new game mode, "Overwatch Uprising" will also feature new character skins such as Blackwatch Genji and McCree, Talon Widowmaker and Overwatch agent uniforms for Mercy, Torbjorn, Reinhardt and Tracer.
There are also all sorts of new loot boxes in "Overwatch" for players to collect once again when they play the "Uprising" event.
Meanwhile, Hanzo Mains will be delighted to hear that Blizzard Entertainment announced that the Japanese archer hero will receive three legendary skins in "Overwatch."
This started when several gamers made a complain on the game's official forum website about the lack of skins for Hanzo.
In response, game director Jeff Kaplan shared the good news as he confirmed that three “amazing” legendary skins for Hanzo are currently in productio, but he did not say as to when will they release the skins within the game.
Gamers can now download the "Overwatch Uprising" event today as it will run from April 11 to May 1 in the game.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
