"It erodes trust with the community. [We've had a] lot of learnings from that, and I would say for any FPS going out forward we will always have split screen going forward," Studio head Bonnie Ross said, according to Games Radar.
With the granting of the split-screen request, some are hopeful that other wishes will be granted as well. Most of the requests of gamers are expected to make the upcoming game sequel more interesting.
Gamers have expressed their preference for having lengthened cut scenes, as they viewed "Halo 5" cutscenes as way too short. Aside from that, gamers are also demanding level designs with extended missions.
There is also a demand for classic objects. Classic vehicle sounds, classic Halo guns for the campaign, plasma rifle, classic shotgun, and classic battle rifle are some of the highly requested classic objects.
Meanwhile, there is still no confirmation from developer and publisher of the game about its release date. There have been talks on various forum sites that the game may be released in the latter part of the year. "Halo 6" may be released in 2018, according to HaloWayPoint.
