"Final Fantasy XV" will have a March event to reveal the release date of the game.
Square Enix has been generous in terms of continuously giving fans new insights and information about its upcoming "Final Fantasy XV." However, if there was one thing that still has not been finalized by the developer, it would have to be the release date for the game.
Until now, Square Enix is not confirming any launch dates, but it has specified a date for fans to look forward to. In March, it appears that fans can see "Final Fantasy XV" in its best form yet. Game Director Hajime Tabata has confirmed that they will be showing the "real" form of the game during this March event, Siliconera reported.

The March event will also hold the long-awaited announcement of the release date for "Final Fantasy XV." One good pre-March confirmation is that the game will release in 2016.
"This year is the year we'll release 'Final Fantasy XV.' Currently, we've decided on all of its specifications and the beta version is under production so we can shift into the debug phase," said Tabata in a statement quoted by the publication.
The development of "Final Fantasy XV" has been an interesting journey for Square Enix, so much so that it has even taken some hints from other games. Specifically, Tabata has named Naughty Dog's hit title "The Last of Us" as one of the game's inspirations.
What the developer has done is to ensure that the character evolves with the story, as seen by how Noctis goes from being the prince in the royal family to becoming the King of the entire country. His journey is all told in a narrative that the developer has tried to incorporate in the gameplay, a style that resonates with "The Last of Us."
This also means that human connections and relationships among the characters will be explored, Examiner reported in its exclusive interview with Tabata. In fact, this goes so far that the Regalia, the black car that Noctis and the gang use in their journey, has also become a symbol of these connection. That is, it connects not only his friends and their journey together, but also Noctis' relationship with his father, as the latter had given Noctis the car as a memento.
Even with the presence of Luna and her supposed role in Noctis' life, Tabata reassured fans that "Final Fantasy XV" is not just a love story. At the heart of it, the game will entail the different relationships that Noctis will have as he goes on with his journey.
