The release date of the fourth installment of the hit game "Diablo" is yet to be confirmed. On the other hand, "Diablo 3" Season 9 is reportedly coming to an end, and developers are preparing themselves for another season, with the Necromancer DLC.
According to EN Starz, "Diablo" has been around for almost 20 years. At the Blizzcon 2016, fans of "Diablo" were looking forward to an announcement regarding the fourth installment of the game. However, instead, they were told that a Necromancer update would be created for "Diablo 3."

In an interview, Blizzard's EVP of Corporate Operations Gio Hunt admitted that the developers are still working on a lot of updates for the third installment of "Diablo.| He also revealed that the Necromancer DLC would be released this year. Hunt noted that the company is not yet ready for another installment of the game, but assured all the gamers that they would announce it, once everything is done.
"We are very happy with the 'Diablo 3' universe, and we continue to produce a lot of free content for it. And now soon, we'll have the Necromancer, a whole new character class being introduced, some time probably middle of 2017 - we don't have a specific date on that yet," he said.
It is possible that rushing the development of "Diablo 4" may lead to the exhaustion of the game's limits. This could mean that the whole game may be spoiled and that players would not be interested in playing it again.
For now, it is best to enjoy "Diablo 3" Season 9 as it is coming to an end soon. Players can watch out for the 10th season of the game with new and exciting features.
