There are still eleven characters to be revealed for "Injustice 2" including the ten DLC characters. The game's official website confirms that the next reveal will be on April 28, Friday.
NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros still need to reveal one more character, excluding the DLC's, to complete the roster and rumors have it that The Joker will be the last one.
Fans on Reddit believe that the said date could have a deeper meaning, WWG reported. The reveal date is more than two weeks away and the developer does not usually tease characters that far before. Another is that in the past, NetherRealm Studios' character reveal happened on Thursday, but oddly, April 28 is Friday.
All these point out that the said date is not just random and it is picked for a special reason. For one, It could simply be the number of the roster in "Injustice 2", which has been confirmed to contain 28 characters.
Another is that April 28 might have a reference to The Joker and Jason Todd/Red Hood. The date, 4/28, could point to Batman #428, the infamous issue titled "A Death in the Family". The game's fans voted to have The Joker kill the then-Robin Jason Todd using a crowbar.
So, question is, will it be The Joker as the final addition to the game's playable roster? Stay tuned on April 28 to find out. "Injustice 2" launches for PS4 and Xbox One on May 16.
