Following a massive success in the release of "Horizon Zero Dawn" as a PS4 exclusive title in February, interesting news about the game's DLC and "Horizon Zero Dawn 2" have started to build up online.
Apparently, Guerilla Games has shared its big plans for "Horizon Zero Dawn 2" once it gets a greenlight for development. It seems that the sequel is in the minds of the game developer as it already has a stream of thoughts on how things will come into fruition.

The game's narrative director John Gonzalez told Game Informer that the story of "Horizon Zero Dawn 2" will be the studio's topmost concern. On the other hand, Jan-Bart van Beek and Mathijs de Jonge like the idea of adding more weapons and machines to the sequel.
Gonzales said that they feel completely humbled to witness the players' warm reception to the story and their emotional connection to game protagonist, Aloy. "We are looking closely at any critiques as part of plotting out our plans for the future of Horizon," Gonzalez said.
Moreover, Guerrilla Managing Director Hermen Hulst has also talked about the development of the first DLC for "Horizon Zero Dawn". Hulst said that it's just the beginning of Aloy's story and exploration of the game's world.
He further confirmed that the team is now hard at work on an expansion to the story. While he did not offer much regarding this development, fans can expect official details to come out soon.
Meanwhile, "Horizon Zero Dawn" has also recently received Update 1.12, offering well-needed tweaks to annoying story crash bugs, progression and technical issues. It also adds a host of new features like 3D headset support and improved pathfinding to quest markers and a lot more.
Developed by Guerilla Games, "Horizon Zero Dawn" is now exclusively available on Sony's PlayStation 4. It was released worldwide on February 28, 2017.
