According to Phone Arena, Benjanim's creation shows the Note 8 with a massive screen of 6.4 inches that carries support for 4K resolution. It supports an aspect ratio of 18:9. As the Galaxy S8's huge display is called Infinity Display, the Note 8 is also rumored to come with the same screen that occupies major portion of the front panel. The fingerprint scanner is placed below the display of the phone. It appears that the phone features a dual-edge curved display.
The creator of the concept render has not revealed new information on the specs of the phone. However, the phablet seems to be missing a rear-facing fingerprint scanner that is available on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. The rear side of the Note 8 in the concept image features a dual rear camera setup along with a LED flash. The right edge seems to feature a power button and the left side has buttons for controlling volume and Bixby AI assistant.
The Galaxy Note 8 is pegged to come with an iris scanner and selfie shooter on its top bezel. Rumors have revealed that the bottom of the phone has slots for 3.5mm audio, USB Type-C, external speaker and a compartment for placing the S-Pen stylus. The topside of the phone has a hybrid SIM / microSD card slot and an extra speaker grille.
Like the Galaxy S8 duo, the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come in CPU variants of Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 9 series chipset, Playful Droid reported. The phablet is pegged to launch in August this year.
