The upcoming Japanese RPG, "Xenoblade Chronicles 2", joins the list of highly anticipated games coming to Nintendo Switch in 2017. While it is not yet known when exactly the game will arrive, a recent leak indicates its potential release date.
The retailer based in UK, Argos, has reportedly released new in-store catalogs listing "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" for a release date in Autumn 2017. Reddit user Giraaaffe even captured a photo from his computer to support this claim.

On the contrary, there is a possibility that Autumn 2017 is a placeholder for the game's pre-order and it will still be subject to change at some point. If one has look closely at it, however, it does not simply say "2017" or the commonly used December 31, 2017.
Case in point, there is also a potential that "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" is officially slated to be available between September and November this year. It is noted that the Argos website still shows Autumn 2017 release date for the Monolith Soft IP.
One thing is sure, though, as Nintendo UK confirmed that Nintendo Switch users will get to play "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" before 2017 ends. Other titles coming this year are "Fire Emblem Warriors", "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe", "Splatoon 2" and "Super Mario Odyssey" among others.
In more news, legendary composition Yasunori Mitsuda has teased fans about the game's soundtrack-one of the important aspects of the JRPG. The head of composition revealed recently that the recording is now complete and they have started on sound mixing.
Mitsuda further dished that there are about 150 people devoted to working on the music for "Xenoblade Chronicles 2". He went on to say that it is one of the largest video game projects to date and it is the biggest production he has ever become a part of.
Not much details are revealed yet about the gameplay of Nintendo Switch title at the moment. But as reported, "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" will serve as a direct sequel of the games that were launched on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
