The fun never stops for "Pokemon Go" players out there as Niantic Labs is hard at work to bring some major changes and big features this Summer. Secret codes data mined from game files also suggest an all new Raiding system is on its way to the insanely popular augment reality game.

Kawashima revealed that a big event is happening this summer and new in-game functions are also underway, Japanese site K-Tai Watch reported. The game will introduce raids, PvP and player trading.
I hope you are looking forward to this huge event this summer. Please look forward to it. Engineers are working hard now so that new functions can be implemented. - Yoshiji Kawashima
However, there is no exact release date attached to the massive update and for now, it is simply set to arrive in "Pokemon Go" around Summer 2107. Niantic confirmed earlier that that co-op play will be released in Spring and several smaller events will take place between now and then.
The developer also has plans to launch new wearable AR device succeeding the release of the first Pokemon Go Plus. It is also entering into partnership with local governments for big events like the one held in Japan's Tohoku Region.
The co-op gameplay is said to be form part of of the Gym battle redesign in the game's upcoming massive update. In addition, "Pokemon Go" will likely feature a raiding system.
This new raiding system was discovered from secret codes in game files, courtesy of prolific data miners at Reddit. Some of it contains the following:
- "There's a raid about to start near you!"
- "A raid's going to start nearby!"
- "Nearby raid starting soon!"
"Pokémon Go" will be celebrating its first year anniversary in July and it looks like Niantic Labs has lots of exciting surprises and treats in store for its 65 million players around the world. The augment reality game has also received another accolade at BAFTA 2017 and won in the mobile category.
