Choosing the best video games this year is a difficult task with so many releases. To help you narrow down your options, here are some of the must-try PS4, PC, and Xbox games this year.
"Yakuza 0," which was released in January, is a must-try video game for gamers seeking an open world, action-adventure game distinct from the usual fantasy and sci-fi genre. As with other games in the "Yakuza" series, gamers are expected to witness different and sometimes silly crime stories that are immersed in cultural peculiarities, according to Vulture.

If you are really into sci-fi, one top game sequel was released last month. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game sequel is set 600 years after the ending of the "Mass Effect 3."
With the timeline leap, an unfamiliar terrain and adventure are likely to await players. That is why some critics believe that the sequel would likely help to determine the future of Bioware's successful sci-fi franchise.
Leading the list for best-selling PS4 games as at March, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is one of the must-try video games this year. This open world tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft is the tenth installment in the Tom Clancy's "Ghost Recon" franchise.
Along with the games above, some other PS4 games to try this year include "Horizon: Zero Dawn," "Battlefield 4," "Grand Theft Auto V," "For Honor," "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2," and "Batman: Arkham Knight." These games were chosen based on their success and positive reviews.
Since we are just in the second quarter of the year, it is expected that more games will join the list. But at the moment, these are some of the top-selling video games this 2017.
