New "Injustice 2" updates will feature a cinematic trailer, a possible file size for the Xbox One and not all characters will have premier skins in the game.

Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios streamed a the fifth and final "Shattered Alliances" trailer for "Injustice 2" and it showcases the debut of long time Superman villain, Braniac.

As seen in the "Injustice 2" trailer, Braniac is preparing an invasion of earth, which horrifies Supergirl as it happened before during her childhood in the Kryptonian city of Kandor. Supergirl urges Wonder Woman to free Superman in order to fight Braniac.

The problem however is that Superman is in prison after events of the first "Injustice" game and his remaining Regime forces at war with Batman's Regime to prevent the Man of Steel's rise to power. The invasion will also cover Gorilla City where Grodd and his Society are stationed. The trailer will also see Batman working with an alliance with Superman in order to defeat Braniac as neither side will have no chance to stop him, Screenrant reported

Aside from the cinematic trailer, "Mortal Kombat" creator and game producer Ed Boon made an announcement regarding the premier skins in "Injustice 2" as he tweeted that not every character in the roster can get one.

Three premier skins are already announced for "Injustice 2's" pre-order set and they Reverse-Flash, Green Lantern John Stewart and Power Girl. Mr. Freeze was recently revealed as a character skin for Captain Cold.

Other rumored premier skins in "Injustice 2" includes the CW Network TV series "The Flash," "Arrow" and "Supergirl," as well as, Black Siren, Nightwing, Batwoman, Red Arrow, Bizarro, Wild Cat, Shazam, Deathstorm, Black Beetle, Ocean Master, Blackfire and Arkham Knight.

Lastly, "Injustice 2's" files size for the Xbox One is hinted to be at 26.82GB, which was posted on the Xbox Marketplace. The HDD size requirement is on the lower side considering the fact that most of the games nowadays takes close to 40-50GB HDD space for installation, Gamepur reported.

Gamers will also have to watch out for the next character reveal in "Injustice 2" on April 28 and it is rumored to be the Joker or Jason Todd/Red Hood.

"Injustice 2" will launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
