While it is unknown yet what kind of details will Square Enix will present for "Final Fantasy XV" at MomoCon 2017, eager gaming fans are excited to find out and it may pertain to the sequel's DLC episodes and other post-launch plans.
Meanwhile, new clues for Episode Prompto will reveal the titular character's mysterious past and how it affected his current situation in "Final Fantasy XV" main story.
The next DLC episode will take place somewhere in Niflheim and will explore Prompto's backstory, where he was a guinea pig of the Empire, but managed to escape their facility before the events of the main game.
A teaser for Episode Prompto was featured in the end of Episode Gladiolus as Prompto is in a snowy field holding his gun preparing to shoot somebody.
Prompto has a hard time pulling the trigger, but fires the gun with full conviction. The trailer ends with a release date of "6/2017," which happens to be sometime in June.
The teaser trailer does not reveal who the wounded man is, but judging by Prompto’s reaction, he appears to be someone close to him. Prompto's hesitation in the trailer hints a close connection between the two and gamers will eventually know this when the DLC episode comes out in "Final Fantasy XV" soon, Windowsreport reported.
Previous reports hinted that Noctis will likely be headed to "Kingdom Hearts 3" due to a survey conducted by Famitsu. Noctis was one of the choices representing "Final Fantasy XV" alongside Claire "Lightning" Farron from "Final Fantasy XIII," Bartz from "Final Fantasy V," Zidane from "Final Fantasy iX" and a Chocobo.
The poll accounted for more than 500 votes, and Noctis emerged victorious by a margin of 36. Square Enix also plans to have more DLC episodes after Episode Ignis and Ardyn Izunia is hinted to have his own DLC episode soon.
"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
