"Kingdom Hearts 3" will possibly make an appearance at this year's E3, recent speculations suggest. Fans will likely hear the release date news as well as brand new trailer for the third main game in the KH series soon.

in his latest interview, Famitsu asked "Kingdom Hearts 3" game director Tetsuya Nomura when the next reveal will happen. In response, he expressed that it remains unkown as to when the new gameplay or release date details about the game will be revealed.

It appeared that while he told Famitsu that the next official reveal is still uncertain at the moment, the next statement could mean that he needs to keep things a secret for now until the day comes as a pleasant surprise to fans.

But it is that time of the year again where all big game developers from around the world will soon gather to showcase their new IPs and upcoming projects at the biggest annual Electronics and Entertainment Expo (E3). It is not a far-fetched idea that Square Enix will bring a surprising reveal for "Kingdom Hearts 3" at its own conference in June.

Notedly, the game developer debuted the first gameplay trailer for "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2015. "Kingdom Hearts 2.8", meanwhile, was also showcased at the same conventiion last year.

E3 has always been the popular venue to launch AAA titles like "Kingdom Hearts 3" and most of these big upcoming games have not been announced ahead of the reveal to offer that element of surprise. For example, "Fallout 4" had been long rumored to be make its official reveal at E3 and it eventually happened.

Back in January, Nomura also shared with Gematsu some of the development woes the game is facing. He said that the whole process still has some way to go while a lot of the new worlds to be featured in the game are not yet finished, IB Times reported.

At MAGIC in March, Nomura offered a teaser and some bits on the game's new Rock Troll enemies and Sora's keyblade abilities. Fans are now hoping that Nomura could be hinting a bigger reveal for "Kingdom Hearts 3" to follow at E3 2017 that is happening on June 13-15 at LA Convention Center.
