Recent reports have revealed that iMac will incorporate great innovations upon its release. However, despite the demand for Apple's flagship device, everything remains to be seen.

In terms of configurations, the criteria are set higher for iMac. Being one of the most prominent gears of Apple, it is undeniable why the assumptions are greater in comparison to the other devices. A former post relayed that two new iMacs are set to begin production next month ahead of a launch in the latter half of 2017 and that could potentially include a "new server-grade iMac for the high-end sector" that could compete with Microsoft's new Surface Studio AIO launched late last year.

Like the broader market, AIO average selling prices (ASPs) could lower down. AIO ASPs may rebound, particularly if users can assume that Apple's professional iMac will be priced at a premium, while the Surface Studio starts at a pricey $2,999 but reaches up to $4,199, reports the same post.

On a different note, getting an iMac is easier said than done. As for its specs and features, the latest iMacs renders a flat all-in-one design, because everything is built behind the screen. Though iMacs feature some of the largest displays of any device in Apple's lineup, they're actually much cheaper than virtually any other Mac, reports Know Your Mobile.

As for the claims that the upcoming iMac might outpace Microsoft's Surface Studio, the speculations should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
