The update comes with the usual Android 7.1 features, Xperia Blog reported. Before updating to Android 7.1.1 Nougat, users should ensure that their device is completely charged or is plugged into a power socket.

Furthermore, it is advisable to back up all essential data such as messages, contacts, and pictures. The Android 7.1.1 N update was rolled out by the search giant Google in November 2016 and was rolled out to Nexus devices one month later.

The update comes with many features and improvements that include a long press app shortcut menu. The Android 7.0 update for the smartphone was first unveiled in Europe followed by the United States, Canada, India, and Brazil. There are reports that it is likely the Android 7.1.1 N update will be rolled out first in these markets.
