There is a possibility that Apple will not release the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus.
There were reports that the Cupertino-based company is gearing up to launch three new iPhone models between mid-September and November. These devices were said to be the iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 7s models with next-generation specifications.

However, there are contradictory reports suggest that Apple has no plans to update the iPhone 7 line, and will skip past the iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 7s, moving directly to the iPhone 8 series.
According to MicGadget, Apple will launch only two new iPhone models in 2017; the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8.
The two new iPhone 8 models will reportedly sport a similar design with a dual-lens rear camera setup. The upcoming Apple iPhone 8 will reportedly feature an edge-to-edge display with curved edges.
There are rumors that the device's screen will be OLED - a kind of screen technology that consumes less power than the LCD screens the software giant has traditionally used. Also, the bigger display will mean an end to the physical home button.
The physical home button will be replaced with on-screen buttons. According to analysts, Apple has been trying to build Touch ID into its screen. However, it is facing some technical issues, and this is apparently the largest bottleneck in production.
The upcoming Apple iPhone will have curved glass on the front and the back, and include a stainless steel frame, Bloomberg reported. The new iPhone 8 could also support augmented reality.
The next iPhone will reportedly come with faster chips that use a 10 nm process - increasing the device's efficiency compared to the 16 mn process currently in use. The upcoming phone will allegedly come with 256GB and 64GB storage options.
