Samsung is set to reveal the turnout of the Galaxy S8 which was introduced in the market this year.
Samsung's profit has been consistently increasing for this year, following the release of its memory chip and display features. Last year did not turn out as the company would have preferred due to the Galaxy Note 7 debacle.

According to CNet, Samsung is bent on redeeming its name with the Galaxy S8. The profit generated by the S8 would reflect in the second quarter of 2017.
Meanwhile, there are speculations that Samsung is worried about the company. Apple is set to release a new smartphone this year. Considering that this year would mark the 10th anniversary of the first iPhone, the company is expected to outdo itself in terms of the design of the upcoming device.
Despite these concerns, Samsung remains hopeful about its earnings in 2017.
"These financial results ... show that Samsung is a well diversified industrial conglomerate and that the company, contrary to Apple, has managed to reduce its dependency on smartphones," the company said in a statement.
In related new, Forbes has reported that the Samsung Galaxy S8 has been facing some issues following its release. Some of the units reportedly have a red tint on their screen, indicating that the phone could have hardware issues. There are also reports that some of the device's application crash every time users attempt to open it.
