A sensor-loaded Lexus RX450h has been spotted leaving an Apple office in Silicon Valley, and all signs indicate this is the latest vehicle for Apple's autonomous auto tests. Apple is said to have limited the extent of Project Titan to work all the more on autonomous vehicle tech.
The Lexus car was reportedly wearing a large group of radar sensors, cameras and Velodyne's, 64-channel, 360-degree 3D LiDAR sensor mounted on top of the rooftop rack, an off-the-rack loadout of parts. While Apple has not released a statement about its self-driving auto endeavors, these photos offer the first look at these efforts. Apple isn't the main company utilizing Lexus SUVs to test self-driving endeavors; Google is doing so too. However, Google additionally has an association with Chrysler for its electric minivans.

The California Department of Motor gave Apple the freedom to carry out such trials with three vehicles earlier this month. Apple's alleged ''Project Titan',' the tech giant's autonomous auto venture, has withstood a difficult 12 months since Apple executive Bob Mansfield assumed control over the initiative. Mansfield reigned in the venture's objectives to focus on creating autonomous driving tech before Apple chooses to build its own car. Before the system shift, Apple held discussions authorizing its innovation to manufacturers Volkswagen AG and BMW AG.
While Apple has remained extremely silent about its work on the venture, there are reports that Apple is taking a gander at a 2020 debut on what it's chipping away at. Moreover, It's as yet unverifiable whether Apple plans to make a self-driving auto or a self-driving platform.
