New "Overwatch" updates will feature more character stories in the game and a glitch in Symmetra's teleporter discovered.

It seems that gaming fans will likely have more character stories for "Overwatch" soon as senior game designer Michael Chu told the crowd at the Tribeca Games Festival that Blizzard Entertainment still manages to get plenty of lore hints into the game itself, thanks to all the voice lines.

Chu stated that they need to be really efficient because there are not that many places to get story out inside "Overwatch" and the pre-game dialogue is one of the many ways they can incorporate new stories. When a match is loading up, characters talk amongst themselves. It ss an easy way for players to get to know "Overwatch’s" cast even if the player's predominantly learn two major things about them through this in-game chatter.

For many gaming fans, this amount of story-adjacent content is not really fulfilling to which in part, is why the "Overwatch" has such a healthy community of fan artists and fan-fiction writers, to which Chu stated the team at Blizzard is very supportive of.

It is also why Chu and the game designers feel that creating all of that supplementary material is important. Even if fans can choose not to engage with "Overwatch’s" many comics, animated shorts etc., the tiny hints of characters’ personalities works to “subliminally” compel them into checking out the expanded the game universe, Polygon reported.

Meanwhile, a new in-game glitch has been discovered in "Overwatch" involving Symmetra's teleporter.

Xbox One player ShadowTroopR5 found a way to make Symmetra's teleporter invincible, which the translucent teleporter will not appear and it cannot be interacted with, though enemy players will deploy as normal.

It is highly noted that this counts as a rather explicit exploit, and is hard to pull off accidentally. Which means that Symmetra players currently abusing it for an edge in "Overwatch's" competitive play are probably being tagged for a ban wave. But if players find themselves facing a rapidly spawning wave of enemy players coming out of who knows where, they now know not to waste their ultimate move on their teleporter, PvPLine reported.

Previous reports revealed that gamers in China will have the opportunity to play "Overwatch" for free along with all 24 characters and 14 maps, with the exception of competitive play.

Blizzard Entertainment also announced that their will not be any details for "Overwatch" at thus year's Electronic Entertainment Expo event.

"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
