The Shinobi are silent warriors able to move with a dancer’s grace and kill with precision thanks to a lifetime of disciplined training. They wield the traditional Japanese Kusarigama.
The Centurion on the other hand, sees the battlefield like a chessboard. Equipped with the reliable standard issue gladius, Centurions can bypass enemy defenses through strategic close-quarters combat.
Both heroes will be available in "For Honor" in May 16 via the game's season pass, but everyone else able to unlock them using the in-game currency, Steel, starting on May 23. The heroes will also presumably be available to buy with real money, though Ubisoft did not announce any specifics about that, GameSpot reported.
As for the new maps, Ubisoft has revealed that these maps are the "Forge" and "Temple Garden." Previous reports revealed that a new game development video teased a new Roman Coliseum map.
Ubisoft has plenty of maps at their disposal and the one shown in the video is not just a floor with bare, surrounding walls. The map has various levels, doors, and design. Just by looking at it, the developers added "life" to the coliseum map with the various architectures and design choices.
In addition, the new DLC will also add new customization items and a new gear rarity level, "Epic." This boosts an item's maximum gear score, while the "entire gear stats system" is getting balanced to adjust, Polygon reported.
"For Honor" is currently available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
