This year, gaming fans have every reason to look forward to the month of July as "Dragon Quest XI" is coming to the limited edition PlayStation 4 and the all new Nintendo 2DS XL device. The limited edition PS4 console and new 2DS XL device, along with the "Dragon Quest XI" game will arrive on the Japanese market on the 29th of July 2017.

According to the Attack of the Fanboy, the limited edition PlayStation 4 console is adorned with the color concept of the first Dragon Quest Trilogy. Also called the "Loto Edition," the all new limited edition PS4 console also features a controller with the game's Slime icon and emblem. Meanwhile, the all-new Nintendo 2DS XL proves that the brand has not forgotten its handheld devices amid the hype on the Nintendo Switch.
In a statement from Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime, he said the new addition to Nintendo's handheld devices boasts excellent design and performance with the added value for money when it comes to the device's price. For the new Nintendo 2DS XL, a single color will be available, which is turquoise or black.
Take note that the "Dragon Quest XI" coming to the limited edition PS4 console and Nintendo 2DS XL will also have a collector's edition for both platforms. The most notable feature of this offer is the Dual Shock 4 controller that is shaped similar to a Slime. The "Dragon Quest XI: Search of Departed Time will arrive in Japan on July 29, 2017. Gematsu on the other hand revealed that the "Dragon Quest XI" game will feature two new battle quest system mainly the Zone and Link. Interestingly, Link techniques were also introduced, which you can read all the details on the website.
Fortunately, players can now play the "Dragon Quest Heroes 2," a game that was released this week for the PS4 console.
