Sony Xperia Z6 to release in February or September
According to recent reports, the upcoming Sony Xperia Z6 will be released in February or September.
Reports suggest that the electronics company Sony is holding a press event on February 22 at the Mobile World Congress in Spain. It is speculated that the tech giant may unveil the Xperia Z6 smartphone at the aforementioned event.

Some reports claim that Sony may unveil its other gadgets at the event. Also, the software company may reveal more information about the release of the Xperia Z6 smartphone.
Therefore, it is more likely that the Xperia Z6 will come out on September 2, which falls on the IFA 2016 event. Moreover, Rikke Gertsen Constein, Sony Art Director, said that the new smartphone will launch in the second half of 2016.
It is important to note that the electronics company Sony has not officially announced the launch date of the Xperia Z6.
In 2015, Sony Xperia Z5 was released during the IFA along with its premium and compact versions. Therefore, it might be possible that the Xperia Z6 will launch in September.
Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone, which was released in September 2015, has a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels x 1920 pixels. Connectivity options include 4G, FM, NFC, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS.
The device is powered by a 2900mAh non removable battery, weighs 144.00 grams and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. It measures 146.00mm x 72.00mm x 7.30mm.
The handset is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and has 3GB of RAM, Digital Trends reported. Furthermore, the Xperia Z5 has 32GB of internal storage that owners can expand up to 200GB through a microSD card.
The smartphone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera.
Rumors are doing the rounds that Sony Xperia Z6 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset. In addition, the smartphone may run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
The Xperia Z6 will be available in 32 GB and 16 GB built-in storage. The device may have reversible USB Type C ports and wireless charging. It is expected that the Xperia Z6 will sport the fingerprint scanner and a 5.2-inch display, according to The Bitbag report.
