Many gamers have debated over the legitimacy of the "Red Dead Redemption 2" photo citing various examples of whether or not it is real or a very convincing fake image. It is hard to tell if the latter since it appears to be a shot taken of an on-screen image.
This could also be explained by the color looking washed out, and the rather “cartoonish” appearance of the image. But some users are even more skeptical than usual because, as they pointed out, the person who posted the photo is a new member, and went off the grid right after posting.
If it is legitimate, suspicion leans towards an early build for "Red Dead Redemption 2" as little touches such as cleaner lines, shadows, and finer details player's expected to make the screen pop are absent.
In other news, it seems the release of "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be delayed due to Rockstar Games still shooting scenes for the sequel.
It is rumored that a live-action trailer for "Red Dead Redemption 2" is in the works as local news reporter Richard Peterson was able to interview producer Jeff Guillot and noted hat the film shoot was for a trailer set in the wild west.
The film crew was spotted in the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana early last week as the rumored "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer shows two cowboys fighting in a Wild West-themed village with a train in the background.
Rockstar Games stated that they are still filming "Red Dead Redemption 2" as Guillot's film crew recently headed to the Mni-Sda (Still Water) Presbyterian Church (known as the Chelsea Church) in northeastern Montana.
Production areas for the sequel also stretch for 5,000 miles and go between California and Montana, suggesting that leaks that show a large map for the game are indeed legitimate.
Guillot added that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is to be released in September, but it does not have an official release date beyond fall 2017. However, the comments from the LA producer will hopefully offset concerns that the sequel could be delayed depending on how fast the post-production could finish it, Gamerant reported.
With the release of the a leaked image and a live-action trailer coming soon, gaming fans will expect something great for "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the following months and Rockstar Games will deliver them in a huge impact as possible.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" will be release on the Fall 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
