iPad Pro
Will Apple unveil a new iPad Pro model at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 this coming June? A new report indicated the rumored 10.5-inch iPad Pro boasting of an all-screen profile and significant specs bumps could soon materialize.
The latest hint of the new iPad Pro model, joining the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch form factors, came from a listing that showed gadget accessories maker Urban Armor Gear is preparing a tablet case that supposedly fits the 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The leaked document, however, provided no further details on the upcoming iOS tablet.

But according to 9to5Mac, the mid-sized iPad Pro coming out has been previously hinted by KGI Securities analyst Ming-chi Kuo. Kuo specifically reported last year that Apple will unleash new iPads having 9.7-inch and 10.5-inch screen sizes. Indeed, the smaller of the two was made available March this year.
And the 10.5-inch iPad Pro touching down at the same time that iOS 11 gets introduced during the WWDC 2017 is not a remote possibility. But the same device dropping ahead of the iPhone 8 could significantly steal the thunder off the latter.
As noted by 9to5Mac, the new iPad Pro has been touted to sport an all-screen profile or the same upgrade that is expected of the iPhone 8. The tablet coming out early will certainly serve as a huge spoiler for Apple's rumored radical redesign of the iOS flagship phone.
It's likely that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will make an appearance as early as next month but if that will be case, the device will not include the design upgrade it is supposed to deliver.
In any case, Apple can elect to delay the new iPad Pro arrival and focus first on the iPhone 8 that is rumored not only to introduce a near-bezel-free design but also invisible or virtual control buttons. Then the tech giant can go ahead with its new iPad Pro plans.
If true that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will have an all-screen profile on release date with the home button jettisoned, the device will become the scaled up version of the iPhone 8. And scheduling its rollout right after the iPhone 8 revelation and availability is only fitting.
