"Injustice 2" is almost here and it will finally launch on Xbox One as well as PlayStation 4 on Tuesday, May 16. But fans on non-console platforms are ever wondering whether NetherRealm Studios has plans to port the game on PC like it did for "Mortal Kombat X" or not.
It cannot get more exciting for Xbox One and PS4 players to be a few sleeps away from getting a taste of hi-packed fighting action among DC heroes and villains in "Injustice 2". But those on PC are curious if they will also get to share the fun in playing the "Gods Amongst Us" sequel.

Apparently, "Injustice 2" was intially announced to arrive on consoles and it looks to stay that way for now since creative director Ed Boon has been mum on this matter. Boon is the first person to get a clue from if a PC version is in the developer's pipeline.
It does not mean, though, that it could not happen in the future. It can be recalled that the first title did not initially release on PC but several months after, "Injustice: Gods Amongst Us" was launched on the platform through the Ultimate Edition including all the DLC packs released for the game.
The same is true for the recent brawler game, "Mortal Kombat X", which saw a PC release for MKX XL. It contains the main game plus both the Kombat Pack 1 and 2 and was released in August last year.
It is not a question anymore if a PC version of "Injustice 2" will be released or not It is now a matter of when the fans will get to play the game and patience is key or so they say.
Meanwhile, the game developer has already revealed the three DLC characters coming to "Injustice 2", namely Starfire, Red Hood and Sub-zero. But it is reported that while tweaking the final frame of Fighter Pack 1 trailer, Raiden and Black Manta have been spotted.
"Injustice 2" is set for global release on PS4 and Xbox One on Tuesday, May 16. Unlock time starts at late Monday night and pre-download for Xbox One is available now.
