AMD Radeon RX Vega Release Rumored For Computex Between May 30 - June 2
AMD's next generation RX Vega graphics cards might be the stars of the year's largest PC hardware component exhibit, Computex. As is tradition, graphics add-in-board partners will be showing off their latest and greatest graphics cards.
The limited number of units to ship in the first few months after the release is attributed to the limited supply of HBM2 memory, which is expensive to use. There's talk that in addition to the RX 500 series, AMD Radeon RX Vega graphics cards may be on display come May 30th.

Powercolor, which is one of AMD's prolific add-in-board partners, has already sent out a mysteriously worded invitation to the press. In the invite, they promised to showcase "new technologies and other latest products" says Racing Junky.
However, by no means does this invitation explicitly mentions AMD Vega, but the cryptic wording does raise some speculation. After all, the AMD RX 500 series has already been released and AMD Vega is the remaining "new technology" that has yet to launch.
AMD will talk about its long-term vision at an event in Sunnyvale California on this coming May 16th. The scheduled talk will include an overview by graphics guru Raja Koduri about the AMD's graphics roadmap that might be is built around upcoming AMD Vega and Navi. So it's going to be interesting to see what new information the AMD might reveal.
However, this won't be a product launch event. So readers should not expect specific AMD Vega product details. However, folks at Video Cardz believe that Computex is the best candidate for the AMD Vega details. NVIDIA isn't planning any release at the event and Intel is sponsoring this year's PC Gaming Show at E3 in the middle of June, so any product announcements from them will take place then.
The official word from AMD's top executives is for the release of AMD Vega is still unclear. The company has said in a facebook post that AMD Vega will be revealed in "Q2". This means any day between now and the end of June.
