Keeping Xbox alive is the upcoming title from the "Gears of War" franchise, Microsoft's Xbox One exclusive game "Gears of War 4." Its first series materialized in 2006 solely for Xbox 360. This is another game from Microsoft, aside from "Halo," which made a big hit in Xbox history. "Gears of War" have kept everyone busy and are now coming up with another installment, dubbed the "Gears of War 4."

The upcoming Microsoft game was unveiled during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) last June 2015. Microsoft has confirmed this upcoming game, but has no tentative release date yet. Information revealed at E3 confirmed that "Gears of War 4" will feature two new characters: Kait and JD. Both characters are shown in the trailer, both with their fighting scenes against enemies. The fight scenes unveil that "Gears of War 4" comes bigger with more power action for gamers.
The new characters are armed with heavy weapons such as guns and chainsaws. Those who would like to check the game before its release can get their confirmation from Microsoft for the "Gears of War" beta. The series is about multi-gamer action, meaning more players can play the game.
Following the trends in the gaming industry, the upcoming game's beta will begin months before its actual release. In a Twitter post to a fan, game developer Jack Felling confirmed that the new game will not work with Xbox 360. Gamers having this console will need to upgrade to the current generation console of Microsoft, which is Xbox One.
The release date of the game remains unconfirmed, but it should be expected before the holiday season. Previous games of "Gears of War" series were extremely successful for Microsoft. It is expected that the company will release the fourth title to boost sales for the consoles, similarly like what Microsoft did for "Halo 5 Guardians."
There is no official declaration for pre-orders for the game, but avid gamers can get "Gears of War Ultimate Edition" from the Xbox Store or Gamestop at a price of US$39.99.
