"The Last of Us 2" is highly anticipated, but its release date remains unknown. Also, rumors of the PS4 gamers having trouble with the forthcoming update is on the rise. Even claims of the specs, features, and storyline being altered are skyrocketing as well.
Just another piece of the puzzle for "The Last of Us 2" players. Looking back, the first look teaser for the game debuted at PlayStation Experience in December last year, while a lot of fans believed that the original title's main protagonist, Joel, may already be dead, and he will not make his return in the next installment of the series.

However, they must be delighted to find out that Joel will still play a pivotal role with a new title forl "The Last of Us 2," and according to the same report, Joel is dead has been put to a stop when Ashley Johnson herself posted a selfie with Troy Baker, the famed actor who played the role of Joel in TLOU.
On a different note, players are still pursuing the speculation that Joel may indeed return. As for the storyline, "The Last of Us 2" will be about hate, many jumped to the conclusion that Ellie's anger and sworn revenge in the trailer are rooted in the death of Joel in the game.
In addition, no one outside Naughty Dog really knows how the story of "The Last of Us 2" will pan out, while it is safe to say that Joel will still be part of the game, the amount of exposure that he will have remains unclear, reports the same post.
For the gaming enthusiasts and "The Last of Us 2," every rumor and speculation should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
