The game's publisher Activision was previously confirmed as one of the third-party companies that would be supporting the console.
Call of Duty: World at War is a 2008 first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. The game is the fifth mainstream game of the Call of Duty series and returns the setting to World War II. The game is also the first title in the Black Ops story line.

When Call of Duty: World War 2 was announced, there was no Nintendo Switch version in the mix. While many would say this should have been expected, it was nonetheless surprising as Activision ardently tried to support the Wii, Wii U, and even Nintendo DS with multiple Call of Duty installments, at least at first. Why, then, was the Switch, which is a capable and successful system, not getting one
Just a few days ago, Canadian developer Beenox posted a tweet showing some of its team members alongside members of the Canadian army. Posted in French, the English translation reads "To create games always more realistic, we have had the pleasure of receiving two representatives of the Canadian Army for us to talk about their experience and their job!" Some fans have taken this to mean that Beenox is working on a Nintendo Switch port of Call of Duty: WW2.
If Call of Duty: WW2 is coming to the new Nintendo console then it's unclear when this would be announced. The Nintendo E3 2017 stream would seem like an obvious place to announce the game for Switch, but Call of Duty: WW2 is set to have
PlayStation exclusive DLC, which is typically discussed during the Sony press conference. It's unclear whether there is a real clash there and that the game is forbidden from showing up at two platform holder events, but either way fans of the game should turn their attention to the annual industry event.
