Rockstarr does have a lot on their plate lately, with "GTA Online" being active and "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the bubble. It is more likely that we may need to wait for few years before we get our hands on the full sequel of "GTA 5."
As we all know, a sequel is inevitable, especially if the previous game is widely successful. Now, to follow Rockstarr's pattern of releasing games, there is a five-year gap between "GTA 4" and "GTA 5." So it is safe to say that "GTA 6" might be released in 2018.

As per Leslie Benzies, Rockstarr's president, the company is starting to work on a new entry. To double proof it, TechRadar reported that there may be a Tokyo setting. Another online entertainment magazine also cited that it may be set in the streets of London.
Fans are crossing fingers that hopefully Rockstarr will change their mind and instead release GTA 6 with Microsoft's Project Scorpio, which is late this year or 2018. Despite the long wait, the fans of the video game are still excited to have their hands on the latest game.
As of this date, the release date for "GTA 6" is yet to be announced by the developers. Thus, readers are advised to take this "Grand Theft Auto 6" report with a grain of salt.
