The long awaited "Clash of Clans" major update has finally arrived. The latest patch offers new battle mode, buildings, troops, and gameplay.

It has long been speculated and anticipated that Supercell will finally bring this year a huge update since the introduction of Clan Wars. Some of the rumors included were shipyard activation, sea warfare, and even loot donations. However, contrary to the rumors, the ships are only used as an instrument to introduce the main update, namely the Builder Base.

The Builder Base or otherwise known as "CoC" night mode brings forth new action and adventure to the game. With the help of the boat, players are led to a fresh start, a nighttime map that is different from almost the known "CoC" rules in the past years, according to Forbes.

One of the known changes to the gameplay brought about by the update would be its battle mode or versus mode. This would somehow suggest that players could simultaneously attack its attacker. The one with the best attack result would typically win, according to Phone Arena.

As part of the Builder Base, troops are expected to train automatically, walls would be coming in segments, and player's bases can't be attacked while they are offline. In addition to those changes, troops can be trained in groups.

Such reliance on troops somehow indicates that magic will not be a huge impact in the new environment. Supercell suggested that heavy usage of troops will win most of the clashes in the game.

In addition to some changes in the game's mechanics, the gameplay of the "Clash of Clans" update profoundly mirrors that of the "Clash Royale." Aside from the new gameplay and strategies to be applied, the influence of "Clash Royale" is also felt in terms of head-to-head battles, daily timers, and bonuses.

The latest "Clash of Clans" update is something that would surely excite gamers worldwide. However, it is expected that there would be more surprises ahead this latest "CoC" offering and that clashers should be waiting for.
