Time Travel Is Possible! Physicists Claim; Here’s How
It can be recalled that time travel has long been a debated topic, and a number of experts has long been curious whether or not there is science behind it. That said, with the help of Einstein's theory of general relativity, Ben Tippett, a Canadian mathematician and physicist professor at University of British Columbia, recently published a study about the feasibility of time travel. Professor Tippet has reportedly used math and physics as he has been able to come up with a model viable for a time machine.

In one of his statements, Tippet explains that time travel is often regarded as something that's fictional, which has probably been the reason why some people think that it's really not possible since no one is doing it. It was found that more than 100 years after Einstein's landmark theory of general relativity, the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, has announced the detection of gravitational waves generated by colliding black holes billions of light years away. Hence, Professor Tippet claims that time travel is indeed possible based on Einstein's famous theory, explaining that there is a growing evidence showing that the closer to a black hole we get, time moves slower.
So, Can We Go Back To The Past?
On the other hand, despite the affirmation of Einstein's theory, experts say that the hypothetical time machine would have to be powered by an exotic matter, which in turn has not yet been found in nature. To build the supposed time machine, an exotic matter, which would allegedly have the ability to bend space-time in these impossible ways, is extremely crucial. Ultimately, Tippet adds that while time travel is mathematically feasible, it is not yet possible to build a space-time machine, Curiosity reports.
