Sony once dominated the mobile industry but the strong competition from its competitors has pushed Sony to the edge. However, recent speculations revealed that the Sony Xperia Z2 might outpace other mobile brands such as HTC, Nokia, OnePlus 5 and even Samsung.

Despite the reports that have skyrocketed, everything remains to be seen. In terms of its specs and features, Sony Xperia Z2 features a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Autofocus, LED flash. The rear camera records 4k video at 1080p and the other features of the camera include a Geotagging, Burst mode, Image stabiliser, Object tracking, Face detection, Sweep Panorama, Touch focus, Touch Capture, and White balance. Sony Xperia Z2 has a Sony Exmor RS image sensor.

Sony Xperia Z2 has a non-removable Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery. Sensors on the Sony Xperia Z2 are Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, Compass, Barometer. Connectivity options include: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0. Dimensions of the Sony Xperia Z2 are 146.8 x 73.3 x 8.2 mm, Noise Suppression, Voice enhancement, 3D surround sound, and WALKMAN" application, reports the same post.

On a different note, a previous report relayed that the Sony Xperia Z2 has brought the challenge and HTC did not shy away from it. The HTC One M8 has also proven that it could be a successful phone and upon its released last 25th of March, the HTC One M8 replaces the original HTC One and brings multiple improvements.

For the mobile enthusiasts, it is given that Sony wants to return to its former glory and the road to achieve that is through Sony Xperia Z2. However, as for the claims that it could outpace other brands in the market, everything should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
