"Need for Speed" has taken a few years off, with the last release a 2015 reboot and well it seems that a new title is in order this year. Need for Speed. That new game had some cool ideas going on, including a fantastic return to good-bad full motion video with real actors, VG 24/7 reported.
The development team of Ghost Games previously revealed some possible such as an offline mode. The previous title required players to be online in order to play, which in term annoyed gaming fans.
As such, the online features for "Need for Speed" 2015 has been a huge discussion amongst fans and even in Ghost Games as well. Ghost Games stated that whenever fans give an issue this much “attention and feedback” it takes note. For that, the developer also confirmed that players will be able to pause the upcoming "Need for Speed" 2017.
The new "Need for Speed" 2017 game will also have more customization elements than the previous titles, adding more unique features never before seen in the series. There are also cop chases, which has been a standard for the "Need for Speed: franchise. More street races and competitions and "plenty of space" for players to do whatever they want on the road, Segment Next reported.
Ghost Games stated that dialing up the action and allowing players to tear up the tarmac, and dirt, to their heart’s content. There is nothing more satisfying than getting into a cop chase and feeling the heat on their tail as players tear it up through the city.
As for the release date, it has been hinted that the new "Need for Speed" sequel will launch before March 2018, the end of EA’s fiscal year. However, since EA is showcasing the sequel at E3 2017 next month, the publisher could surprise fans with a release date for the PS4 possibly sometime within the year.
Gaming fans will just have to wait for more details of the new "Need for Speed" sequel next month.
