New updates in "For Honor" will feature a fix on the one hit kill glitch and more rage quit penalties coming soon.
Ubisoft announced that they will be fixing the one hit kill glitch in "For Honor" this week as gamers complain about the error for several days since its discovery.
Dubbed the "One hit kill bug," the "For Honor" glitch allowed players to kill their enemies in one hit by performing a specific sequence of attacks. It was mostly encountered against Wardens, but was later discovered to affect multiple heroes as well.

The glitch spread like wildfire considering how easy it was to replicate it in "For Honor." The cause likely has something to do with the game’s death from above mechanic that grants bonus damage when landing a hit after jumping off a ledge. The same logic is what causes the game to think a death from above attack was triggered, when it did not.
Several players suggested disabling death from above from the game, until a proper fix has been introduced. However, Ubisoft actually managed to identify a fix without compromising death from above. This fix will deployed in a patch update this week on PC and the consoles, following the server maintenance.
But the patch fix will include another glitch on its own in "For Honor. " Ubisoft warned players that performing a guard break out of lock followed by an out of lock attack will result in a different attack stance, PvP Live reported.
For Lawbringer, this means left stance will be activated on light and heavy attacks, instead of right stance. For Conqueror, the top stance would trigger on light attacks instead of the right stance.
Nobushi players will see the left stance trigger on heavy attacks instead of the right stance. Berserker players will see the left stance on light and heavy attacks instead of the right stance. Finally, for Raider, the top stance will be activated on light attacks instead of the right stance.
In other news, Ubisoft will be introducing new penalties for rage quitters in "For Honor" in its next patch update.
Ubisoft confirmed that they will be giving punishments for those who leave "For Honor" early during gameplay. Although it is unclear exactly what penalty the developers will dish out to those who ditch before a match is truly over, they can now tell when people quit the game on purpose, including ALT + F4 (which closes the current window), force closing the game, and disconnecting.
The next "For Honor" patch update is said to launch this week on the PC version, while on consoles it may take a little longer due to the certification process, Gamerant reported.
"For Honor" is currently available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
