Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Rumors: Spotted Render Hints of Premium Specs, Classic Design and Affordable Price Tag
Another flagship killer apart from the OnePlus 5 could come out as early as June 2017. The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is no doubt the supersized version of the Xiaomi Mi6 and with significantly souped up capabilities. A new render provided a glimpse of the things to expect from what appears as rival to Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8.

Courtesy of MobileXpose, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is visualized as a 5.7-inch phablet with Super AMOLED curved display. Notably, the device makes no attempt of copying the Infinity Display seen with the GS8 and the all-screen design that is expected from the Apple iPhone 8.
Instead, the Mi Note 3 will keep to the classic design profile, meaning it will mirror the design language that Samsung had introduced with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7 in 2016. Xiaomi's move on this matter could be explained by its intention to package the Mi Note 3 as some sort of a flagship killer and the keep the device's asking price at an affordable level.
And it makes sense as not using an all-screen display with the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 should keep the manufacturing cost down and the retail price as well.
Also, WCCFTech is suggesting that the skipping the all-screen design is deliberate on Xiaomi's part. "One reason why Xiaomi might not try and reduce the bezels on the Mi Note 3 is that the Mi MIX II will probably be the key product to deliver that striking appearance," the report said.
But with or without the bezel-less front panel, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is a flagship in many accounts. MobileXpose said the device will come baked in with Snapdragon 835 chipset, which is the main engine that fires up many 2017 premium handsets. The Mi Note 3 can also count on 6GB of RAM and 128GB of basic storage capacity.
The Mi Note 3 camera combo is a 12-megapixel rear shooter in dual configuration and 8-megapixel front camera. And the jumbo phone will have an equally massive battery pack at 4000mAh, the report added.
When it jumps out of the box, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will run on Android 7.1 Nougat and on release date, rumored set anytime this coming June, the asking is thought to be relatively cheaper than the competition, likely not exceeding $500 or within the range of the OnePlus 5 sticker price.
