A new Xiaomi smartphone dubbed as Xiaomi Mi 6X may soon be released. The specifications of the device were first spotted online codenamed as "Jason."

Xiaomi smartphone rumor mill now introduces another phone from the Chinese brand following a reported leak of a low-end version of Xiaomi Mi6 days back. After Xiaomi Mi 6C had surfaced online, a mid-ranger device dubbed as Mi 6X has been spotted on GFXBench, according to The Android Soul.

Based on the leak, the alleged Xiaomi Mi 6X is believed to sport Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 660 processor. To complement the mobile processor are 6GB RAM and an expandable 64GB inbuilt storage, according to News18.

Other features of the device will likely include 12MP primary camera and a 4MP front camera. As per for its price, the mid-range Xiaomi smartphone is expected to have an introductory price of almost $300, which is almost $70 to $80 cheaper than the high-end counterpart.

No other details were given about the mid-range Xiaomi smartphone. Nevertheless, it is expected that it will somehow showcase similar look to its high-end counterpart.

As for its mobile OS, an Android Nougat will likely be running the device. A similar color scheme may also be observed namely, Ceramic Black, Black, Blue, White.

There is no telling yet on whether the Chinese brand will incorporate the latest trend of a Fingerprint sensor. But with the looks of it, it might include the latest trend as one of its specs.

Meanwhile, reports of a low-end Xiaomi smartphone still continues online. Details about the device suggest that it will sport a 5.1-inch display while running the latest Android version.

The device, unlike its high-end and mid-range counterpart, will be running 2.2 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 200 + 1.84 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260. It will be paired with a 6GB of RAM while having 33350 mAh.
