This seems to be largely thanks to the addition of Slip-n-Stream Tracer featured in "Heroes of the Storm" as part of their second anniversary update. Not only that, gaming fans posted several art works depicting "Overwatch" characters in their swimming attire like a Scuba Diver Roadhog, Beach Dad Soldier: 76 and a Shark Mecha D.Va.
However, It is important to note that while players have said Blizzard Entertainment should add these in the speculated return of the Summer Games event, it is highly unlikely they will make their debut during that event due to that fact that Summer Games has an Olympic Games theme, PvP Live reported.
In other news, Blizzard Entertainment announced double XP event in "Overwatch" this coming weekend.
As part of the anniversary celebration for "Overwatch," Blizzard will kick off a double XP weekend that will run from Thursday night at 8PM ET to Tuesday morning 3AM ET. In between, nearly everything in the game will award double XP, no matter what platform gamers are playing on. That also coincides with their last chance to pick up Anniversary themed loot boxes and rewards, Engadget reported.
Previous reports revealed gaming fans are requesting a console function report feature in "Overwatch" after the latest DDOS attack. Blizzard has also removed the "Rate this Match" feature in the game as part of the new PTR patch 1.12.
The upcoming patch 1.12 will feature the new map "Horizon Lunar Colony," as well as changes from three characters; Roadhog getting an increased nerf damage, while McCree and Reaper will have significant buffs to their abilities.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
