Technology has dominated the society and it has made its way into the anime world as well. One of the famous anime of this time, "Tokyo Ghoul" has implemented stunning graphics and unparalleled incorporations of the recent technology to make the series more appealing.
"Tokyo Ghoul" is a Japanese manga series created by Pierrot studio. While the series fared well in the market and gained unprecedented profits, the series faced a lot of setbacks as well. However, it has gained some momentum and is reported to dominate the US theaters at the latter time. Funimation Films just announced its acquisition of the live action Tokyo Ghoul movie, directed by Kentarō Hagiwara and starring Masataka Kubota. Funimation will release the film in North American theatres in Japanese with English subtitles, with dates for the theatrical release coming in the near future.

In the meantime, Funimation has held a special event for the film which will be live-streamed worldwide (with English closed captions) over on YouTube. Hagiwara, Kubota, original manga author Sui Ishida and other special guests will be on hand to discuss the film and answer questions from fans in the audience as well as around the world, reports the same post.
Given the fame, the series and its renewal remains unsettled. For the fans and followers of "Tokyo Ghoul," there are many factors being linked to its delay. As for the notion that the technology behind the anime series is the one that should be blamed, that remains unsettled and should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
