The latest updates for "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will feature the game's release date, new trailers and four special editions.
Ubisoft officially announced "Assassin's Creed: Origins" at the 2017 Electronic Entertainment Expo along with a new cinematic trailer, gameplay demo and release date.

The latest entry in the "Assassin's Creed" franchise confirmed the game's setting in ancient Egypt and the origins of the Assassin Brotherhood. Players will assume the role of Ba Yek,an Egyptian sheriff who has to tackle corruption within the ancient kingdom of Egypt.
Ba Yek in "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will be equipped with bow and arrows, scimitar swords, axe and spears besides the signature hand blade. The trailer also feature Ba Yek fighting in a glaidiator like arena and explore the Egypt horseback, boat and even underwater, Metro reported,
Aside from the cinematic trailer, Ubisoft also showcased a gameplay demo for "Assassin's Creed: Origins" using Microsoft's update Xbox One console, Xbox One X.
The gameplay demo will feature Ba Yek travelling to his home region of Siwa as he is infiltrating an enemy stronghold in the area. Players can use Ba Yek's pet falcon Senu to scout the stronghold from above, giving them several advantages such as how many enemy units, shortcuts and secret areas.
Another new change for "Assassin's Creed: Origins" is a greater focus on RPG elements as Ba Yek's found a new loot like the Amonhotep’s Bow, a legendary predator weapon. Not only that, the demo featured a progression system, with Ba Yek leveling up as well.
The demo did not go into specifics about what leveling up means for the player, but a new ability point was earned along with a new bow.
Meanwhile, "Assassin's Creed: Origins" will feature four different special editions with different bonus contents.
First of these is the "Deluxe Edition," which includes the "Ambush at Sea" naval mission and the "Desert Cobra Pack," containing the Eye of Apep staff, the Legendary Snake Shield, the Desert Cobra Outfit, the Fangs Horse Companion, the Fang Sickle Sword, and three ability points. It cost around $70 USD.
The "Gold Edition" will Includes the Deluxe Edition content and the game's season pass. It is worth $110 USD.
The "Gold Steelbook Edition" is a physical only edition and includes the Deluxe Edition Content, the Season Pass, and a Steelbook case. This is not available for PC and cost $110 USD.
Lastly, "Gods Collector's Edition" is also a physical only edition and includes an art book, a copy of the game's soundtrack, a 10-inch figurine of the game's main character Ba Yek, a physical copy of the game's map, and the Deluxe Edition content. It is not available for the PC and is worth $120, GameSpot reported.
In addition, gamers can buy "Assassin's Creed: Origins" season pass separately for $40 USD, GameSpot reported.
"Assassin's Creed: Origins" will launch on Oct. 27 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
