As far as software is concerned, it is speculated to come loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone is rumored to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front shooter. It is likely to boast a 3,300 mAh battery and support Samsung Pay. The phablet appears to come with fingerprint reader that will be embedded in physical Home button in the front.
The Galaxy J7 Max is expected to cost at $311. It is said to release in this month and is pegged to come in two color variants of Gold, and Black. It is not clear if Samsung will be introducing the Galaxy J7 Max in U.S. The phone is said to come powered by MediaTek chipset. The LTE band of MediaTek powered smartphone is incompatible to be launched in the U.S. Hence, if Samsung does plan to launch the phone in the U.S., it will have to introduce Qualcomm powered variant with Snapdragon chipset, PhoneArena reported.
The South-Korean company is rumored to launch two phablets in 2017. One will be the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 called Galaxy Note FE and the other one is the Galaxy Note 8 flagship smartphone. The Galaxy Note 7R is expected to get unveiled in July, while the Galaxy Note 8 will be launching in the Q3 this year. Rumors suggest that the Note FE will be carrying the same specs that were present in previous Galaxy Note 7, GizmoChina reported.
